We integrated early

In 2008, our passion for creative communications led us to form a spin-off PR agency Together, our creative, digital and PR teams offer clients powerful, integrated campaigns and one-stop-shop marketing and digital solutions.

    Founder of Icon and sister agency, Christopher Dodds is a designer and digital strategist with more than 20 years' industry experience. After training as a designer he established Icon in the mid 1990s and advised some of the country’s leading agencies and companies on digital pre-press production.
    An expert in digital communication trends, Chris leads the digital team at Icon working with our clients on strategy and implementation. Chris has a Masters by Research in Interactive Media from RMIT University, and is a member of their Program Advisory Committee for the School of Media and Communications, Animation, Interactive and Digital Media.

    Joanne has more than 20 years’ experience in journalism, PR and digital engagement. Prior to founding, Joanne was an award-winning print journalist and media commentator for News Limited and Fairfax. As a pioneer of digital PR in Australia Joanne leads a team of digital and social media experts skilled in designing and executing integrated PR and communication campaigns. 

    Joanne consults on digital communications strategy, social media issues management, brand strategy, and corporate communications. Her clients have included ME Bank, ANZ, Schweppes, NSW Farmers, Advantedge/NAB Group, REIV, FKP/Aveo, Australand, Sustainability Victoria, EPA Victoria and VicRoads. Joanne has a BA (Hons) Degree and a Master of Arts Degree from the University of Melbourne.

    She sits on the Victorian Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) committee, is chairperson of the PRIA Victoria Registered Consultancies Group, and a member of the Australian Marketing Institute.

    Matt is an award-winning digital UX/UI designer with over 15 years experience in interface design, website front-end development and production management. Matt has been the creative lead for Mondelez (Cadbury Fundraiser), iSelect, Global Carbon Institute, Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, and Icon's own websites. He has worked on major projects in the past for the Football Federation of Australia, Telstra, Kodak, Vodafone, ANZ, Red Cross Blood Service, Hamilton Island, Monash University, Deakin University, and Gillette.
