Dec 2011We’re moving to a new perch
After many fabulous years of working in Melbourne's CBD, Icon.Inc is moving to new premises in Cremorne (think Richmond). It's twice the size with a rocking fitout, so we're eager to spread our wings and settle into a new nest. Please update your address books and drop in for a look-see anytime from December 12.
We're experiencing a massive spike in large interactive projects, and are looking to build a dedicated team of passionate and down-to-earth freelancers.
We're currently looking for:
• Highly creative web and interface designers
• Front-end HTML/CSS programmers
• CMS developers with PHP, Drupal and Expression Engine experience
• iOS and Andriod developers
If you're interested, please get in contact and we'll hopefully keep you busy until the end of the year!

Jul 2011The Melbourne International Film Festival
The Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) is just around the corner and this year like every year they are showcasing a range of films and genres from what the international cinema has to offer.
The full schedule will be released tomorrow at 11am (can hardly wait to hit the ticket box!) – and a few of us at Icon will surely be hitting a few of the sessions.
Some of the selections at this year’s festival are A Separation (Iran/France) with already three Golden Bears from the Berlin film festival, The Fairy (Belgium/France) to be played on the opening night, and We Were Here (Australia) a creative short film made purely from YouTube content!

Jun 2011Missing pieces
Got a few hours to spare on a cold and wintry Melbourne day?
Lost your old puzzle set?
Then head to failepuzzleboxes.com where you can wile away the afternoon recreating these retro puzzles on your very modern computer or you can even download the iPhone app for when you are on the move both generously free of charge.
However if you prefer the traditional way you can always purchase one of these cute and quirky sets featuring original works of art mimicking old-school comics and vintage posters from a bygone-era.
