Blog - August 2011
Early this year, the Icon team worked on the design and print for La Trobe University’s first ever sustainability report.
We are pleased to announce that the report went ahead to win the title of “Best First Time Report” at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Sustainability Reporting Awards in Sydney earlier this month.
One of the key objectives was topresent the information in the report clearly and concisely through the use of graphs, illustrations and photos. These visual inclusions were complimented through the use an innovative design that ensured comprehensive navigation for readers.
Well done to La Trobe University and the Icon design team!

Aug 2011And the winner is…
Icon is pleased to announce that Responsible Futures, La Trobe University's sustainability report has been shortlisted for an ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Australian Sustainability Reporting award.
As part of La Trobe University’s sustainability initiative, Icon worked with the University on the design and print of their first ever sustainability report.
One of the key objectives of the report was to present information clearly and concisely through the use of graphs, illustrations and photos. The structure of the report was also vital, ensuring comprehensive navigation, signposting, links to other information and the inclusion of an executive summary.
A range of papers were reviewed before the final selection of uncoated Evolve – a paper made from 100% recycled fibre with 100% post consumer recycled waste, FSC and ISO 14001 accredited.
The awards are being held in Sydney on the 8th of August, fingers crossed.
